"コネ"の解説

企業選考において何らかの良い影響を与える、家族や先輩などとの関係性。例えば、Aの父親がO社の社長だった場合、Aは父親のコネを使って正式な採用を経ないでもO社に入社できる可能性がある。このようなコネ入社が新入社員の半数を占めるような企業もある。日本では、テレビ局がコネ入社が多い例として有名である。

Relationships (such as those with friends, family members, and seniors) that may have a positive impact on the selection process of a job application. For example, if an applicant's father was the CEO of a company, then the applicant has a high possibility that he or she may be employed by the company without going through the actual selection process. There are companies that half of recruits involve with such a connection. In Japan, TV station is known as the example of recruiting those who entered the company by "Kone."
